 Emma is a girl of mixed nationality, Italian and Norwegian, with many relatives in Norway. She is 12 years old, tall and slender, fair-haired and blue-eyed. She sees herself as a nice and fun person and she doesn’t like to be teased. She lives in the countryside of Florence with her big family, 13 people in all, and she has a hamster and a dog!

Emma studies at ‘Baccio da Montelupo’ School, but she doesn't like to go to school. Of all the teachers, her favorite is the one that teaches Italian, History and Geography. Emma appreciates her a lot for her cheerful personality and creativity. Emma speaks English very well and the other foreign language that she studies is French. Usually, her homework consists of Math exercises and Geography and History questions that Emma manages to finish in less than two hours. Afterwards she has time for her favorite activities: watching TV, reading or playing cards with her family.

Emma has two best friends with whom she likes to go shopping. She goes to the cinema with the other friends from school or, sometimes, with her mother. Her favorite holidays are Christmas and her birthday—she celebrates it in Norway at her grandparents’ house with the whole family. She travels a lot to Norway or has visits from her Norwegian relatives, in fact any occasion is good to see each other and spend some time together.

Her favorite dish is the Mexican "tacos" and when she goes to the restaurant she eats pizza, but she doesn't like pasta! When she grows up, Emma would like to become a veterinary, an astronaut or to have her own pet shop.
