Tamara, Cuernavaca, Mexico

Tamara is
a 10 year-old girl and she lives in Mexico. She has an elder sister and
a dog called Coqueta. (Coqueta means flirt.) Tamara likes the celebration of the Independence Day in Mexico (September 15th) because a lot of people dance and there is nice music. She also likes her birthday in February and the Christmas holiday in December. At home, Tamara cleans the table and her room. Her parents don't give her allowance. When she goes to the school, she goes in her parents' car, when she wants to go to other places, she goes on foot, by car or sometimes by taxi. On the weekend, she likes to swim. She likes to watch TV and to read, especially books of Harry Potter. She practices a sport after school twice a week. Tamara is in the 5th grade. Her favorite teacher is Patricia - she teaches History. According to Tamara, Patricia teaches very well. Also, Tamara likes Math and considers it is very fun. The class that she likes the least is Music because it is boring. A typical daily homework for Tamara is of two hours. Sometimes, she has to do projects for Geography and Spanish grammar. Other interesting things: her favorite scent is coffee, her favorite flavor is mango, she loves to drink horchata (rice water) and she doesn't like to eat zucchini. When she grows up, she wants to be a famous singer. If she could be someone else, she would like to be her mom!
